This is a list of the people who've been involved in the production of this course:

Maura Mckibbin

Maura Mckibbin is the sole director of Maura Mckibbin Collaborative Solicitor and Mediator Limited, a practice based in south Manchester which she set up in 2007 to focus on helping separated families to find agreements away from a court arena. Maura’s focus is to help separated parents to agree a parenting plan for their children (sometimes consulting with children as part of this work with parents) and to support separated couples to be able to agree a way forward in order to achieve their financial separation. Maura also runs Parenting Apart Information Meetings in her local area to share information with parents in the early stages of separation about how best to meet the challenges ahead and to help their children to adjust as their family changes shape.

James Pirrie

James is a director at Family Law in Partnership. He specialises in complex financial issues and non-adversarial and cost effective approaches to divorce and separation including mediation, arbitration and collaborative law. He helps clients take control of the issues that affect them, clarifying priorities, exploring all the options and identifying the best way forward.

Natalie Drew

Natalie is a partner in TLT's Family team. She has particular expertise in complex financial cases and those involving business, trust and international elements. She also has many years experience in cases involving children and and is an accredited specialist in Private Law Children matters.

Liz Edwards

Liz qualified as a solicitor in 1982 and has worked as a family lawyer since then. She trained as mediator and as a mediator helps couples achieve settlement on financial and children issues. She trained as a collaborative lawyer and in 2012 qualified as an Arbitrator. She is former National Chair of Resolution. She is a managing partner of QualitySolicitors Amphlett Lissimore.

Carol Ellinas

Carol is head of the Family department at Russells and advises on the full range of family matters including divorce, dissolution of civil partnership, cohabitation, pre and post nuptial agreements and issues concerning children including Removal from the Jurisdiction, maintenance and contact. Carol is also a trained Collaborative lawyer and wherever possible she helps parties broker an agreement but if litigation is inevitable she is decisive and tenacious. She gives her clients clear, practical advice and focuses on finding the right solution for their particular circumstances.
